A Vacuum of Leadership in the Office of Student Life
30,000-plus students and a turnout of a mere 407 voters for the recent Associated Student board of directors elections is an incredible indictment of the failure of the Office of Student Life - its advisors and the current board of directors - to establish their relevancy to the vast majority of students who attend Santa Monica College.

Oh man, that is some funny s…t! I don’t know who’s responsible for the joke of student government at SMC, but the school definitely needs to do something about it. My friends and I just laugh about the whole process. Why can’t they come up with something students care about? Is it really brain surgery? Right-on about your site!

So that’s Bobbie Adams. It’s kinda funny that the guy has not been seen at ICC all year until you post your video and all of a sudden he shows up at the Interclub Council meeting. Coincidence?
No frickin way. I think you’re gettin under their skin my friend.

It’s pretty hard to believe that only 407 people voted. I went and got 100 students in the cafeteria to complete my lame math 52 survey in an hour.
How about next time:
a. Have the election take place over a week, not just a day.
b. Have multiple polling stations, like in front of the library, the starbucks, etc.
c. Hot chicks running around, dragging people into the polling stations.
